Mary E. Schiavoni, Pediatric Speech - Language Pathologist and Pediatric Feeding Consultant, is the inventor of the innovative Chewy Tubes® oral motor tools and author of the Jaw Rehabilitation Program™, a step-by-step series of goals and objectives that target the development of biting and chewing skills.
Mary is the designer of the popular Chewy Baby™ Collection of Developmental Teethers and Oral Exercisers. All her treatment tools and baby teethers are free of latex, lead, BPA, PVC, phthalates and made in the USA, in the State of Maine.
Mary has worked in the field of pediatrics for over 3 decades with a focus on developing oral feeding and oral motor skills for over 3 decades with a focus on medically fragile infants and children. Her treatment expertise focuses on initiating fundamental movements of the tongue and jaw that are essential for safe oral feeding and successful speech production skills.
Mary is a long time member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Maine Speech Language Hearing Association. Her expertise includes specialty training in the area of Neurodevelopmental Treatment. She is a nationally recognized speaker on the treatment of pediatric oral motor development and oral feeding skills.
